CeBIT 2005: LuxPro's Super Shuffle
comment: 4 | Sunday, March 13 (2005) 06:50PM | Posted by Austin Vaughan

You've no doubt heard about Luxpro's Super Shuffle by now - we just wanted to show you a couple of real pics and confirm that yes, it does exist, and yes, they're quite proud of it. The company rep did admit there were some... similiarities to another popular product of the same name. The Super Shuffle's brochure even has a big Apple on it, ferchrissake. Well, whatever happens, you gotta admit: they got ballz.

I reckon they might do everyone a service by showing that this crazy company (clearly they are absolutely loopy) is still capable of making a better product than the Shuffle! At least it will get lots of press and leave Apple looking a bit silly that their "stroke of Genius" idea could so easily also be made by another company and even bettered. IF they survive this, at least everyone will know there name and this almost insane scheme may have worked well to get them some advertising so they stand out against all the other wannabe companies out there.

Now if only a couple of other companies would follow suit and give us a shuffle with a screen (a whole new level of shuffle, actually being able to see what's playing) and some other combinations. I'm still waiting for the Truffle Shuffle before I purchase one!
