Asian flash-player number 4665-B, with a hint of cleverness

Alifa of China has a rare trick up its sleeve with their AW690. This player includes a micro-speaker among its features, but to save space it was incorporated into the cap that goes over the USB plug. Sure, it probably sounds like crap, but at least it's there if you need it. I'd guess it's more useful for playing voice recordings than Jay-Z. There's only one other player we've seen with something similiar, the M-Bird XT-21.

Design-wise, we'd have to say the AW690 is fair, if not a bit blah. At least it's not ugly, and that's something. The 4-color OLED screen is nice addition but the controls look a little simplistic to be much good for navigation. Other features include FM radio, line-in recording, 128mb-1gb capacity, etc... we're never likely to see it on this side of the world so I'll spare ya the rest.
