Archos PMA430 review

Let's just say that if the folks at Archos wants their PMA430 back, they're going to have to send some goons to the CNET offices to get it.

Yup, that line summarizes CNET's thoughts after getting to play with Archos hot DAP/PVP/PDA/microwave, but if you want more info on the device, their full review is HERE.

Basically, Archos threw everything but the kitchen sink into this thing (though the PMA does have USB host, if you've got one of those USB sinks), and it's mostly all good, aside from occasionally iffy Wi-Fi connections and slow application load times. Also of note is a nice recording program included with the PMA that manages recordings from the internal mic, line-in, or external mic, and also includes features like a level meter and on-the-fly ID3 tag editing for your recordings, something that's a rarity on other audio devices.
