Remember
THIS BlueTooth Headset (aimed at the Apple iPod, but there's also a "generic DAP"-version available)? Well, some Australian company called "Blueant" has designed its own BlueTooth headset... but this time, there's already a DAP inside of it. Yeah, GPX recently did something similar, but that's also the company behind the
BANTAM BA-1000. I'd rather take my chances with the 6-legged smurfs-brand, thank you.
So what we've got here is a headset equiped with 128MB worth of flash-memory, that can stream audio over BlueTooth (from whatever source is transmitting the data). It also doubles as a headset for mobile phones and PC's, might you be interested.
When listening to music stored on the unit's own flash memory, a battery life of some 7 hours is advertised; not that great. The battery pack's removable, though. Plus you get something that looks like a UFO to go with the whole package, which is never a bad thing.
Seen for $ 269 (Australian Dollar; that's just over $ 200 USD) HERE (via blueant) | | |
