iRiver H10 20gb for sale soon?

Someone found out that the 20GB iRiver H10 seems to be out there... slipping into some webretailer's page.

You can witness the 20GB version at eCost, which supposedly offers the unit at $ 289.99 - $ 9.01 below the 20GB iPod v4's suggested retail pricing. They probably won't have them in stock yet, but if you want to find out when it'll hit the stores... you can "give them a call".

Spoke to Rachel from Ecost. She said they don't have any in stock (no sh!t). So I asked her when they expect them to be availalbe and she said the warehouses are getting em in on May 12. So not too long to go.

*yawns* Honestly, this is probably iriver's most boring hard drive product its ever made. We all know its going to be almost exactly like the H10 5gb except with larger capacity and much bigger form factor.

I must agree with chicubs on this.... while its a great design... and covering the entire storage spectrum with only one design might be cost effective... it gets kinda boring.... when EVERYTHING is the same..

iRiver keeps taking steps backwards. This model has less features then it's predecessors (h3xx, h1xx), obviously they're keeping things simple to compete with the iPod, but if theyre going to do that at least make the thing *THIN*.

remember, they're supposedly in the progress of already-replacing this version with a slimmer, Toshiba hdd-equiped one. Not sure if this is still the case, but that's what they said last March.

I'll agree, it's been a bit of a downhill ride since they first released the iHP-1xx series.....

eh yah MTP still there? I use Windows XP, but my school doesn't - they're on Apple. I don't need 20gigs for music - 10 gigs of my DAP for video work at least. MTP won't be much help there since OSX has no luck with it, I think.
