We originally reported about PQI's P600 from
CES (January), when they just had brochures to hand out, and then again from
CeBit (March) where they had some plastic mock-ups on display. It looks like they've made progress since then judging from these pics of the finished (or nearly-finished) product, so it should be available for sale within just a few months now. According to to PQI, the P600 will feature a 4-inch TFT display (480x272), GPS Navigation, 1.8-inch hard drive (20 or 30gb), TV and SPDIF output, USB Host, IRda remote control, PDA functions, built-in speakers, and a removeable battery. It supports a ton of file-formats too, including MPEG1/2/4 and XviD videos, MP3, WAV, AC3, AAC, and OGG audio, JPEG, GIF, BMP, and RAW type pictures along with plain TXT for reading. Very nice, if true...
