RCA RD2762 has arrived

This weekend I decided to do a little sleuthing at my local Walmart (well, I guess it was just shopping) when I came across what I thought was the RCA RD2765 DAP, the one Austin took a look at a while back. Unlike the RD2765 however, this model had only 4 GB's instead of 5, and it also had a plain-jane monochrome screen instead of a color display. I thought perhaps I was hallucinating, but apparently this model does exist (Walmart product page), it's just not available anywhere else at the moment.

yeah, well i have had one for about a year now and i loved it until just a couple of days ago. When i tried to turn it on, the hard drive makes a weird popping sound and it gives me an error message telling me that the file system is corrupted. Upon, doing some research, i found out that i am not the only one with this problem. I tried to hook it up to my computer and will not recognize it in XP of Ubuntu. DO NOT BUY THIS MP3 PLAYER!

EVER!
