Ok... looks nice on paper, and it's going to be fully Open Source (supported by neuros)... but we've seen this thing pop up before. Most recently, we saw it at CeBIT. Austin already mentioned something about it in this
article. Quote from that report, referring to the pictured player:
"We saw a very generic-looking PMP in a display window, which we stopped to ask to about. The company rep we talked to seemed to be the company owner as well, and he was very embarrassed about the whole thing. He said that it was only their first generation PMP, and that we really didn't want to see it.

A rebranded version of the original Sampo PXD1
We pressed on, so he reluctantly got it out and showed it to us, but he stressed that we really didn't want to buy it. "It's just like all the others," he said, "Not very good. You might want to come back after 1 or 2 more generations." So, we have to award this guy The Worst Salesman of The Show award, but we do appreciate the honesty."And when digging up memories from last year...
THIS news post popped up. That's right, same casing for sure... almost one year old. Hope Neuros manages to implement all kind of cool software features, next to the Open Source thingy. Pictured PVP will probably just be used as a basic platform... but it's kind of weird nevertheless.

The quote is pretty amazing.
