Vallio VA-850 - "What a awesome MP3 is VALLIO!"

Random DAP, made by Vallio: the VA-850. Looks ok, offers enough standard stuff, a sleekish design and SD/MMC expansion slot.

  • White/Black/Silver design

  • Li-Polymer 3.7V, 20 hours playback time
  • LCD Display 4 Line 2-Color OLED
  • USB2.0
  • Built-in memory : 128M/256M/512M/1GB
  • SD/MMC Card : 128M/256M/512M/1GB
  • FM Tuner + recorder
  • Line-in encoder + voice recorder
  • Supports MP3, WMA, OGG
The best thing has got to be the company's slogan, though: "What a awesome MP3 is VALLIO!". I think we'll all have to agree on that, whatever it means.

Well the expandability is something you're not seeing a lot of anyway.

It seems to use folder based playing which is far more flexible than song based and is usable for larger flash sizes.

The Sansa series of Mp3 players support the SD slot thing too. Up to 2gb of sd memory.
