This "Argos" store in the UK seems to have the perfect name for exposing some Archos AV500 details to the general public. So here we go:

Seems to retail at about 500 Euro (349 UKP), that probably translates into 500 USD as well - you know how this game works by now.
Don't forget that this is only the "basic" version of the AV500. There are other versions coming up too - one with a 100GB drive and 15 hour playback time for video.

Pretty sleek looking unit, good job Archos. Now if they made an audio unit this slick, I'd say Archos is on the right track.
