Logic3 PSP BoomBox
comment: 3 | Tuesday, August 02 (2005) 09:00AM | Posted by Austin Vaughan
The Logic3 PSP535 from SpectraVideo looks to be a decent speaker system and charger-cradle for the Sony PSP, although it's certainly not the most portable solution. Then again, it would probably rest nicely on your shoulders, ghetto-blaster style. What you get is two mini-speakers and one "subwoofer", worth 12 Watts of RMS power. It runs on 4 AA batteries, or AC power, and it includes some nice extras like a 3D sound effect, blue LED illumination, and a 3.5mm line-input jack. Available soonish with an expected price of 50 Pounds ($ 87 USD) in the UK.

forget this one! sure it sounds better than the internal psp-speakers, but it has some "plastic" kind of sound not hifi at all. the subwoofer isn't really adding that much power.
besides charging the psp through this device didn't work in my case. as soon as connected to current, the psp shut down. i heard of some having the same problem, contacted logic3 about it, but never got any response! nice service!

cool concept, but i made my own psp boombox. it's just a regular dual cassette boombox with the cassette decks ripped out, with a headphone plug wired to where the magnetic head was.
