What? An MP3/CD player? Do those things still exist? And why report on them anyway? Good questions. The answers, in chronological sequence: "The Beond M800", "That's correct", "Yes" and "Because Hong-Kong based Beond came up with a somewhat odd design for this particular device."
You see - first off, it's green. Green is kind of a weird color for a DAP, but we'll let it slide this time. Because there's the lid, which is shaped like... an apple. But no ordinary apple, oh no: an Apple with a bite taken out of it. Just a quick bite, there's still some 9/10 of apple juiciness left. Kind of reminds us of some corporate logo...
Oh - the M800 plays MP3 and WMA. Somehow, we don't think that's their main spearhead . | | |

That's really funny. My first dap was a CD-MP3 player - I bought it from a Circuit City (or something of that ilk), and it broke within months. Never the less, I managed to continue using it for something like 2 years before finally getting an Archos Jukebox recorder... Ahh... good times, good times. That old CD player is still sittin' in my trunk, I think...
