Creative Zen Sleek Photo

Turns out Creative isn't too stupid to figure out that a color screen-version of the Zen Sleek might prove interesting. This edition will come with an OLED-type LCD, like the one found on the upcoming Micro Photo... only a bit bigger in terms of proportions (well, duh... the article mentions "1.7-inch" but that seems a bit small).

Seen here and there in some Portuguese webshops, at around 320-329 Euro a piece (20GB). Latter shop also shows a basic retail price of some 290 Euro for the 8GB Micro Photo.

This is what it should have been in the first place. Not that color screens are all important, but from a marketing and sales standpoint a color screen is a must these days.

Good to know that Creative still keeps on using their brains. Though it looks pretty awful in the picture though.

Oh happy day....I loved the way the sleek looked, kinda like a giant ipod mini with cooler buttons....and the touch strip I can deal with, size was always right....but with an OLED screen, something about this just draws me in. I want one. And thats probably wrong since I own and X5L, but this thing is smaller, no hump, better screen, and sexier. Eat me alive if you care. I love this thing.

hmm,
Although H10 & X5L produce hi quality audio, this model would be alternative choice with competetive prices (especially in Asia)............

I like the design but alas, I want EAX features
