The Eclipse AVN7905HD is the latest and greatest media player for your car, from Fujitsu Ten. This is is about as high-end as it gets. The AVN7905HD has a 30gb hard drive, GPS navigation, CD/DVD player, TV tuner, AM/FM radio, MD deck (ATRAC3), and MP3/WMA player. The 7-inch LCD is 800×480 pixels, and has a unique dual-view function. When turned on, it actually produces two distinct images which are viewable from different angles. Seperate displays for driver and passenger, in other words. See pics of in action
HERE. The driver can use the Navi function while the passenger watches a DVD or whatever. The only drawback is that the number of pixels is halved (400×480 pixels) for each image, but quality for both images is maintaned by using a seperate processor for each. Other nice features include a Dolby 5.1 decoder, ProLogic, DTS, 7-band EQ, and 50W x 4 channel MOSFET amplifier. Price? A whopping 315k Yen, or about $ 2780 USD.

Very cool idea for a screen. I heard about these last week on NPR. I just wish they weren't so expensive.
