 | | We've heard of them before, and actually ran into them in person every now and then but meanwhile, Aigo from China decided to come up with more crazy-weird DAP-related gadgetry.
Take this MF-361 MP3 player, for instance. How cool is that, having three "seperate" LCDs available at all times? One for the battery indicator, another for that miniscule analog clock thingy, and finally the "full-sized" LCD that can display random Chinese scribblings - probably track information, menu items and such as well .
Too bad it's ugly as sin (subjective huh), only comes in 256 & 512MB (that's like 155/195 Euro, jeez) and plays just MP3/WMAs for about 12 hours per charge.

Well, that's very cool and all. We think there's a catch, though - might be that you'll have to re-encode your videos to "MTV" format in order for them to play on the E858. I mean... "VOB" support on such a small unit, in both size and capacity? Not sure about this at all, though... so keep dreaming.
Supposedly already out in China, at some 1799, 2299 and 2999 Yuan for each version (185, 235, 305 Euro - hmmz). We did spot this one at several events already... wonder if it'll ever make to western markets. Could turn out to be quite popular if the firmware is in mint condition, but who knows?

Nice how the battery life of the second player varies by which half of the linked page you look at. Whichever one though the audio playback time is awful 5hrs or 5.5hrs.
