Cenix GMP-M6 hybrid thingy
comment: 4 | Wednesday, November 30 (2005) 03:46AM | Posted by Robert Sinke
So you like the looks of Sony's PSP, plus its ability to play games and all. You were also mightily impressed by the StormBlue A9's form factor. However, you're a hardcore game-hippy nor an Bluetooth-adept and don't feel like spending all of your money on buying seperate things. This is where Cenix's GMP-M6 might come in handy.
![]() This thing supports MP3, WMA, Ogg(Q10), Audio ASF, MPEG4, IMA-ADPCM, comes with a nice little 2-inch TFT LCD QCIF Resolution (220x176) and also does video (MP4 for about 6 hours in a row, per 3.7V Li-Polymer battery charge). The company says both 2D and 3D games are supported, although we probably don't have to tell you "not to expect too much from all of that". More promising are an advertised playback time of 20 hours for music files and an attractive, compact form factor (90 x 45.5 x 13mm @ a mere 55 gram) that reminds us of Nintendo's most-recently released Gameboy (Micro). Oh, and it also sports USB-OTG support, comes with a built-in Mini-SD slot and has 1GB worth of flash memory inside. A quick mention of the built-in FM tuner, the 160 EUro price tag and a mid-December release (Korea) finalize this particular news post. SOURCE Comments
