Hitch USB transfer device
comment: 11 | Tuesday, January 10 (2006) 11:46AM | Posted by Lone
Check it out guys, it's the new iPod (joking)!

Actually, it's the 'Hitch' from Sima. It's purpose is to interface two USB devices so you can transfer files between them (without lugging around a PC); music from iPods (and other DAPs), pictures from digicams, files from flash drives, etc. Looks like a more refined, easier-to-use version of one of these. The Hitch runs a modified version of Linux and should be priced at $ 120-150 when it's released this Spring.

This thing has got to be the offspring of a cyborg cow.

There's simply no other explanation!

The X5 is the Batman of the DAP world (dressed in black with a sweet utility belt)
This is the TwoFace
and the iPod is the Joker.

well, that's actually not a bad deal if you have a psp and an external HD and are gonna be on a roadtrip or something, but most of us could just use their laptops...I mean, I've gotten old 300mhz machines with usb 1.1 that do that plus wifi and quake II for $100 or less...

I just bought one of these for $99 for my kids. GREAT product! highly recommended for those of you who want to transfer songs/files/pictures without lugging your laptop around.
