Sure, the iPod Nano is an enjoyable flash DAP that does what it's supposed to do: play music and look thin. Really thin. It's not exactly perfect in some aspects, though - take the design's vulnerability to scratching, for instance. We didn't pay 200-250 bucks to have our slender little nano go to waste, did we?
EPL Technology from Hong Kong agrees on that, and so they came up the Evere A373/374. These cases won't only protect the nano from getting all ugly and all, but they also double as Bluetooth dongles. This means you can use a wireless set of headphones in combination with the A373/374 (and headsets are being provided a-plenty by EPL too). The A373 also comes with a built-in FM radio. | | |
Two problems, still - the built-in battery will only last for some 5 hours when using Bluetooth headphones and the actual case makes your once-slim nano look like it recently took first prize in a local Food Frenzy (102 x 45 x 19mm, up from 90 x 40 x 6,9mm - also more-or-less doubles the weight).
Not a bad idea, though - especially if you insist on using Bluetooth headphones in combination with a Nano. If I recall correctly, the rep said it would cost 130 bucks in combination with one of their headsets. More info on the company's products

Im guessing by the picture that it doesnt protect the scroll wheel as well... so that could still be scratched... Hopefully it fits well in the case... or, (ironically) the case could end up scratching the player..
