Robert Sinke | | DMB is kind of a hot feature in Korea right now, and so we keep running into PMPs that support "Digital media Broadcasting" (data streaming via satellite = S-DMB or terrestrial = T-DMB) every so often. A couple of European countries are about to experiment with this format too (see Wikipedia for more info).
Anyway, another one of these new PMP/DMB combos is the "Tube ND100". MPNavi has a couple of pictures of this thing on their website, and it does like a bit like some retro-70s-made-modernesque television sets - especially with the huge blob sticking out at the backside. Seems like you can take that protrusion off of there, though - it's probably some sort of accessory (flipstand/GPS receiver of some kind).
The ND100 also has a touch screen and an SD/MMC card slot, video-out, built-in stereo speakers and... a detachable antenna. Because, eh, well - it has to look like a tv . No idea if it'll ever make it to anywhere, as often before.
