Well, the "May" window ended up being more like a "May/June" release date - but in the end it's the availability that counts. Archos is apparently ready to pump out their
XS104 by now.
The 4GB (micro-hdd) XS104 measures 91 x 43 x 14mm, weighs 80 grams, comes with a 262k color display (1.5-inch diameter) and the ability to display pictures, as well as output MP3/WMA (DRM) and WAV files. It officially costs 199 Euro, but we managed to find it for 179.90 Euro already.
Big question being: why would you want to buy this instead of, say, a 4GB SanDisk Sansa e250 (flash memory-based) or a 20GB Archos XS202s/iriver H10? They're almost equally-expensive, and there's little going for the XS104 when compared to such material.
