So you think the 8GB
Venzero One is too bulky and/or expensive (289 Euro)? Not quite satisfied with the
MiniOne's price point (119-169 Euro) or capacity range (1 and 2GB)? Well, apparently Venzero has you covered on this one too.
They've sneaked a 6GB micro-hdd player in between their already-announced (yet not-yet available) models; it's called the lilOne. That's lots of One's already, but more choice = cool to us.
Not much is known about the rectangular thingy right now (it's not even on their own official site as we speak), other than that it's "probably (one of) the smallest HDD players" out there, able to play music/video & display photos through a 1.5-inch, 262k color screen. Hmm... small... small color screen... videos...
Cowon iAudio 6, anyone? Oh right... this one is 6GB...
iriver E10, anyone? Heh, it's probably going to be a bit of a hybrid between those two units, then

.
The lilOne also comes with a feature called "MusicMarker", allowing you to track down/download songs you've heard on the radio. It should run for about 20 hours per charge, plays MP3/WMA (DRM'ed stuff too) and costs some 199 Euro. All in all, Venzero has thought there line-up through pretty cleverly, and it seems as if they're getting ready to output the whole lot in the next few weeks & days. Great - that gives them more time to come up with 4GB (and possibly 6GB) flash DAPs and a 30/60GB DAP/PMP hybrid, while topping things off with a ncie slender-looking 30-100GB dedicated PMP. A man has to have his pipe dreams, no?
