E = MCody M20 = M20 + USB(2)

Ok. In case you weren't able to decypher the news title, that's alright. All you have to know is that Median, creator of the semi-reputable M-Cody series, has improved their latest/slimmest DAP for a bit. Indeed, we're talking about the M-Cody M20 here.

The result of all this fumbling-about? Why, it's the M-Cody M22! In case you were expecting groundbreaking changes like a built-in infrared-guided open-sea kamikaze submarine, or the much-needed "auto clone-that's-smart-enough-to-do-my-work, yet-stupid-enough-not-to-complain-about-doing-it generator"... sorry, they didn't manage that just yet.

The only thing that has really changed: the M22 is now USB2.0-compatible. That's right - the original could only handle USB1.1 speeds. That's actually quite a useful upgrade then! Welcome to 2006, dear M-Cody M-series travellers.

Oh, and let's not miss out on another detail - instead of the laser-of-death-like red LED light, the M22 now has a nice blue'ish glow hidden underneath its touch-based controller. Just so you know. You can go back to being utterly confused now.

That's what people said about the Olympus MR100, and that's why I bought one. I don't know about this player , but the MR100 is the least user friendly dap I have. It's a combination of the scarce features, the touch interface, and the screen being practically invisible unless it's lit. And the proprietary software doesn't help.

The blue one looks pretty good. The red one made in look like the Chocolate. I like the clean looks.
