New Sharp PMP thing: SP700

Sharp. Hm. Yes. Not the type of brand you'd normally associate with DAPs and PMPs (although they have produced some in the past - mainly intended for release on the Japanese market). But there you go - patterns are there to be broken, so Sharp introduced a rather interesting-looking PMP during the KES2006: the so-called "SP700".

Comes with a 4.3-inch widescreen color screen, 30GB hard drive + SD expansion slot, a built-in dictionary, 300 billion other features we can't make sense of right now and DMB (for receiving digital TV and all). Supposed to hit some markets as of early next year. Now the waiting begins... will it ever make it across Japanese/Korean borders? And if so, at what price? What formats does it actually support? And will it be able to make chocolate chip/cookie dough icecream?

Actually, they are the exact type of brand one would associate with DAP's and PMP's. Examples of similar companies in the dap world: Sony, Philips, JVC. Sharp sell tv's and stereo's also, just like sony, philips and jvc.

I am of course just pulling your finger rob dude. Keep on top of this guys, it looks interesting, although rather large.

Makes sense, since Sharp's Zarus line of organizers lack PMP capabilities.

Maybe a 1200W Magnetron would be great on the go! Hah! That's what I know of Sharp, one of the top makers of microwave ovens.

Design Fabulous

Seems like a device for Korea. Hmm... Seems sort of nice, DMB, 30gb, SD slot and the 4.3 inch screen.
