Meizu sure are keeping themselves busy. Not only are they making brand new products like the the
M8, they're also updating their older ones. Just recently we reported on a M6 (called the
M6se) that's rumored to be thinner than the original. Apparently they also have plans for a new
M3 (Music Card), called the M3se.
From what we know, the major changes will be in the players design. They'll be replacing the scratch-prone glossy surface with a brushed metal one, ala the 2nd Gen iPod Nano. Additionally, they've reworked the controls. Rather than having a separate button for skipping tracks (something I wasn't too fond of), they've now built it onto the edges of the touchstrip.
This wider touchstrip with rocker buttons is very reminiscent of the one found on the Creative Zen Vision:M. Finally, the player will supposedly be a little shorter, at a height of 76mm, compared to 81mm on the original. That's about all we know for now, but we'll make sure to update you as soon as we find out more.

Wow, sounds great! I think I might pick up one of these if the price is right.
