Rumor: Archos 7th Gen Players coming June 11th?

Archos is planning some sort of event in Paris on June 11th. The invitation isn't heavy on details, but gives us a teaser image of the new product. Archos updates their product lineup every Summer, so there's a good chance the event will be to announce their 7th generation of players.

What will the 7g be like? Will they continue with their Internet Media Tablets, or go back to standard PMP's? Will we finally see an Archos player running on Android? Your guess is as good as mine! We'll provide full coverage of the announcement, so make sure to check back next month.

I want to see a smaller flash player myself. Something like the S9 or P3 would be pretty cool. Archos typically makes players with a 4" or larger screen, and on rare occasions a basic/mid-range player with a 2" screen or smaller. I think a nice 3.0-3.3" touchscreen player from them could sell well.

I'd like an Archos with outstanding sound quality, awesome battery life, included codec support, enhanced web browsing capabilities... and yeah... android would be a nice touch. Definitely ^^

Bring back the removable battery...I'm sticking with my 40gb 504 until that happens.

After Archos Abandoned the 605 line with Buggy incomplete FW, and then Issues with the Archos 5 I bought and had to quickly return, it will be a cold day in Hell I ever buy anything Archos again.
