Check out the iriver B30 in action

Iriver's newest player, the B30 has gotten the hands-on treatment. The player comes equipped with an accelerometer, which is used heavily in the video below. From switching to a coverflow viewer, to shaking the player to skip songs. Iriver looks like they were trying for the same "magazine" style interface as the P7 and P35, but I don't think they quite pulled it off. The B30 is currently selling in Korea, but so far there are no plans for a global release.

It looks like a giant Zune!!!! Until you turn it on that is. I kinda like the look of it though. But it has a horrible navigation touch pad, like my Q2. BLAH!!!!

I actually quite like the interface, it seems responsive, easy to use and useful. However I really wish they could get rid of the brown squares and make it a bit smoother and with a better colour pallete.

I'm told it should be available for European/UK release by the end of June from Advanced MP3 Players

That's kool. Might get to try it then, by doing a small import.

A giant "meh" coming along with several "yawns" from Norway at this moment.
