... you can actually take photographs as well, since it comes with a built-in camera. Moreover - and to most of us, more importantly - it also supports direct-encoding of video files (recording from e.g. a television), as well as playback of MPEG-4 and DivX.

  • Built in 20 GB Hard disk drive memory
  • MPEG4 / DivX / JPEG / MP3 / WMA format support
  • Direct Digital Encoding for TV / Audio sources
  • Mass storage function with USB 2.0.
  • 260,000 Color 2.83 ” TFT LCD

Looking pretty sweet to me. The hdd-size is a bit on the wee-side of things, and the unit shows like it's a fat bastard. It's probably comparable to the Archos AV420 in most aspects, but a little competition can't hurt.

Hmmm... roughly estimating... with a screen diameter of 2.83", this thing could turn out to be pretty small... something's in the line of G400 as for length is concerned. A lot thicker though, I guess.

This looks appealing to me, not because I necessarily want a straight out video player, but rather something that records digitally from a TV (assuming it's timer controlled). I'm also interested in a digital camera, and at 1.3 megapixels its certainly not outstanding, but would probably be good enough for me. Hope it's a reasonable price.
