New PMP from Cowon iAudio, The A2

Few details are available yet. From what I can read at cdpkorea.com, it has a 16:9 TFT LCD, 1.8-inch 20gb HD, USB Host function, and supports Divx, Xvid, WMV, MP3, OGG, WMA, JPEG, & BMP formats.

Doesn't look outstanding, but if it has good video recording it will be a contender to the Archos AV's.

I'm not sure how much I'd appreaciate 16:9 screen since I'd mainly use a PVP/PMP for viewing series-episode which are almost always 4:3. This is though because I'd watch on the train etc which is only 25 min soo..

Unfortunately I need to carry a convergence device at work, as I might be listening to music and miss a call since I can't hear my phone ring/feel it vibrate. That's why it's such a big issue w/me - a call to an emergency might mean life or death. If I'm using a stand alone device it could prove disastrous.

It's the hardware that I like, the premium feel and decent all-round spec.

Sure, it's not perfect - I'd prefer a dedicated camera button and an HDMI-out but nothing out there ticks all the boxes.

As for multimedia, it's not really something I ever use my phone for so I can't comment on that.

It's the only phone that does multimedia right, and for a LOOOOONNNNGGGG playback time. Plus that display,.....

This new Samsung Orion CPU sounds interesting. Suppose to be like the dual core version of the Hummingbird cpu.

Yeah I saw that, hopefully Tegra2 is good with battery life. Did the devices with og Tegra cpu get good battery life?
