A few weeks ago we
reported about the next-generation player from Neuros, the PocketPlayer. Now that I'm finally getting around to scanning in these flyers from CES, I have this one picture to share. It's not much, but gives you some idea of what to expect. We havn't seen the actual player yet either. Should be another 6 months or so before it's ready, according to the rep.
So, what about the design? It does seem a little plain although the final product will cerainly look better than it appears here. What makes this player interesting is the long list of features, even though it's roughly the same size as other mini-players. The PocketPlayer does pretty much everything you could want (except perhaps, video recording). And like they've done with the old Nueros, the firmware will be open-source.
