Coming up some time soon: MpEye HTS-200 review
comment: 19 | Tuesday, May 10 (2005) 11:24PM | Posted by Robert Sinke
We've received a review sample of MpEye's HTS-200 today - thanks to Advancedmp3players and a disturbingly fast delivery service. As a divine punishment, the delivery van got completely stuck, blocking my street solid until a tow truck came to the rescue.

It's still hard to grasp that this thing actually has 5GB worth of memory on-board, but it's true alright. I keep thinking of it as a flashplayer, which makes it more comfortable for bringing along when on-the-go. So far, I can't help but being somewhat impressed by MpEye's creation. It's lightweight, decent in design and style plus it offers the usual array of features - line-in encoder, voice recorder, color screen...

Talking about that screen... well, it's pretty... uhm, small. Probably one of the reasons why the whole thing is so compact and pocketable. Anyway, to see if the HTS-200 can pull off a shock-effect like the Gmini XS200 did for its own turf, we'll take the little fellow for some test drives, next couple of days. It's best that you leave your questions in the form of a comment below this news post, so I can go through the list (once I'm done with my own encyclopedia-of-righteousness)and all.

No! It doesn't support gapless playback! Hey, the list just got shorter. Your turn. Some extra pics after the jump.

(Both 5GB, mind you )

(5GB & 1.5GB... !D)
