A First Look at the iriver M10 and D5

One company that didn't disappoint us at this year's CES was iriver. They showed off an impressive lineup of devices in various ranges. Typically, that's enough for one company to release in a year, but not iriver. They have a few more players up their sleeves, which will be debuting at this year's SEK exhibition in Korea (June 20th -23rd).

iriver M10

First up is the M10, which will serve primarily as a GPS navigation device. The first thing that stands out about it, is the larger than life knob on the right side. That knob might not seem practical on a PMP, but I imagine it'd be helpful while driving. Additionally, the M10 will have a built-in DMB tuner. No word on capacity, but if it's like the Cowon L2, it won't be much.

iriver D5

Our trusty Korean member designfabulous says electronic dictionaries are all the rage over in Korea. It's hard to imagine a dictionary being a hip thing, but with companies like iriver making them, it's easier to swallow. Just look at the D5, and it's predecessors, and you'll realize these aren't your typical electronic dictionaries. If I lived over there, I'd have my hands on one too.

We'll provide the full specs of the upcoming players when they make an official appearance next week.
