Remember the V10 E10 W10 G10 from iriver? It first popped up just prior to the CES, back in January. Turned out to be a wireless (WiFi, Wibro) gaming thingy, capable of doing lots of sweet stuff... yet it was unlikely to make it to anywhere outside of South Korea.

The G10 has just become really real, despite the pessimistic odds of us ever obtaining one. Nice-looking, slider-type 4-inch screen for sure: WVGA (800 x 480), capabale of displaying MPEG4 (N/SP), H.264 DivX and WMV9 movies whilst also supporting MP3, WMA and AC3 playback in the audio department. USB-Host speeds are rather limited (1.1); then again , there's your typical Mini-SD slot to expand beyond the regular memory boundaries. A detachable battery and accessories like a "navigation pack" and "DMB module" add to the coolness of it all (topped off by the built-in voice recorder, text/image viewer etc etc).


Comes with 6GB worth of NAND flash installed... hmmm... jummy. Me wants. Please iriver, reroute a few of these thingies through Europe/America. And throw in one of those V10s as well, while you're at it.

In other iriver news... the DMB-only B10 also made it to its own product page by now. What can we say? Looks slick, like the U10... err.. Clix... err. well, you get what we mean. Not too pricy either, to korean standards - 129k Won (105 Euro or so). Then again, there's not much fun to be had in this one for us "Westerners"... DMB aint exactly popular over here yet (let alone "supported").
