File this under the "we saw it coming" category: Dell has officially ceased sales of their DJ Ditty flash player, six months after killing the hard drive DJs.

Dell's dellditty.com site now simply redirects to a page where Dell sells 3rd-party DAPs from Creative and SanDisk, including the popular Zen Vision:M and e200. Seems very much like 'survival of the fittest' is at play here, as the Ditty was never seen as anything more than an ugly iPod Shuffle with a small screen and radio.
