Just a few days ago I posted my Review of the Creative Zen V Plus. It's a great little player that was made to compete with the iPod Nano. During the process of writing this review, Apple had an event where they released a new generation iPod Nano. This 2G Nano is one of the first flash players to come in an 8GB capacity (Sandisk Sansa e280 being the other). A reliable source has informed epiZENter that Creative plans to release an 8GB ZVP to compete with these players.



I'm pleased that Creative is moving so quick to counter these increases in capacity. In the past it's taken much longer for them to do so. Creative also has some of the best prices for these high capacity players and I expect that same trend to continue with this rumored 8GB player. The big problem that still remains is getting them into stores in a timely manner.
