Meizu has found a way to make their kick-ass
M6 (Mini Player) a little bit more affordable. The company fit in a new chipset of some kind (supporting advanced DSP functionality, or something like that) as well as a different brand of screen (at least, that's what I can make of it - my Simplified-Chinese skills are a bit rusty nowadays).
They're claiming it's still pretty much the same thing as the "regular" M6, so we won't have to compromise in terms of features and (hopefully) screen/audio quality - it's just that Meizu love us so very, very much (oh and apparently, there's a lot of competition out there in China as well).
The "regular" M6 used to cost 850 Yuan (1GB), 1099 Yuan (2GB) and 1599 Yuan (4GB) respectively; the "SP" edition is supposed to go at 699, 899 and 1299 Yuan (1, 2 and 4GB). Not sure how this will affect European (and American?) price levels - we'll just have to wait and see... as usual.
