You may not recall previous players by Dyne, but sure enough they have
8 Tuny's under their belt. As a little Christmas treat, they've officially announced two new players via their website, the Tuny 9, and the Tuny 11. We'd previously gotten a glimpse of these players at
CeBIT and
CES, albeit in prototype form.
Let's start off with the 9:
- 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB models
- 45 x 82 x 14 mm
- 2" display (260K colors, 176 x 220 px resolution)
- 18 hours of audio battery life, 8 hours for video (with lithium-polymer battery)
- Plays MP3, WMA, OGG audio, MP4 video at 10 FPS
- FM Radio
- Voice, FM, and Line-in recorder (in MP3 format)
- Bluetooth capability
- Supports TV out
Looks a little weird, but quite feature-filled (how often do you see TV-Out and Bluetooth in a flash player?).

 | The Tuny 11 is definitely the sleeker of the two, however, with a thinness near that of Apple's nano and a design similar to Median's M-Cody M30. Unfortunately the battery life can't quite keep up with the aforementioned players (just 8 hours playing back MP3's).
- 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB models
- 80 x 36 x 7.9 mm
- 1.7" display (65K colors, 128 x 160 px resolution)
- 8 hours of audio battery life, 3 hours for video (with lithium-polymer battery)
- Plays MP3, WMA, and WAV audio, SMV video (proprietary format)
- FM radio, voice recorder
We're pretty sure these Tuny's will be available in Korea soon enough, but aside from that we're not real sure.
