To go along with the Jerry M520 and the Elaine S249, comes the Newman M669. Okay, so none of those other players actually exist, but until there's a better mental image available,
Newman will always be associated with Seinfeld. Unlike most other Chinese DAP companies, that are making major strides in the flash industry, Newman is still set on releasing HDD players. I might be way off here, but the M669 looks like Darth Vader in PMP form to me.
The player has a 20GB HDD, a 3.6" screen, and supports a bevy of codecs. It has MP3, WMA, and Ogg on the audio side, and MPEG-1, 2 (.vob), and 4 (Divx, Xvid, etc..) on the video side. Additionally the player has a USB-Host to transfer files from other devices and is UMS compatible. One of most attractive aspects of the M669 is its pricing. It's selling in China for 999 Yuan, or just $131US.
