At last, a move back to standard batteries. Not too long ago we reported on the ultra eco friendly wind up DAP, well this is the NHC Ecolong which uses a similar theme of being eco friendly. Claimed to be good for 85 hours of battery playback from a single AAA battery, this DAP is perfect for the travelling hunter.



The Ecolong is a bare bones DAP, it measures 78x36.6x18.5mm and weighs 36g, has basic codec support in the form of MP3 and WMA (non DRM) and capacity is limited to 1gb. None the less it's great value if that's what you're after, costing ¥5980 (€38 / $52) although you'll only be finding this on ebay I think.
