Last year Samsung released the YP-P2, and upon first glance I was completely mesmerized by it. It sets itself apart from others with its customizable touchscreen interface, simple yet appealing aesthetics, and support for Bluetooth. It's certainly not a perfect player, but Samsung certainly intends on improving it with their periodical Blue Wave Firmware Upgrades. Another downside of the P2 was the retail price. The 4GB retails for $199, which was about $50-100 more than other players in its range. Prices are finally coming down, at least at one retailer. Buy.com has the White model on sale for $149 Shipped (Taxes in CA). That's just about the cheapest I've seen it going for, but still a bit too expensive in my book. Hopefully Samsung will officially lower the price on the P2 in the near future.
