You've seen Microsoft's big reveal, and you've seen Apple's. Now it's Creative's turn apparently. They've been sending out invitations to various press members for an event being held on Wednesday, September 17th.
The invitation shows an X-Fi logo and the words "I am heard everywhere" across the top. What does it mean? I have no clue. A few months ago, Creative released the ZEN X-Fi; their first DAP to make use of that audio enhancement. Perhaps they were just testing the waters for a bigger and better X-Fi player? Will the Vision:M ever have a true successor? All these questions and more shall be answered on the 17th! (or perhaps not). For all we know it'll probably be some "Made for iPod" products.
Update:
*sigh*
It appears this new product that Creative is ready to unveil is just a notebook soundcard with X-Fi built-in. It also has a reciever on the end that allows you to connect to additional wireless receivers around your house and listen to music "everywhere". Dissapointed? Yes. Surprised? Not really. | |
