Introduction

What you see before you is the stand-alone review of Meizu's Mini Player, a.k.a. the "M6". It's a smart-looking, ultra-thin multi-purpose kind of DAP that allows us to listen to music/watch videos/pictures among various other stuff(s).

This player has been discussed by Brandon not too long ago, in his "Oracom UB890 versus Meizu Mini Player" head-to-head review. I currently agree with his conclusion on many areas, this particular (dedicated) Meizu M6 review won't be the most extensive article ever written by (sub)mankind - rather, one can look at it as a "second opinion" from an equally-expertised DAPreview staff member.

However, to keep things fair and square, this article was written without any knowledge of Brandon's views whatsoever. Therefore, there might be some overlap here and there; but this way, it should become even more apparent where the player's strengths and weaknesses pop up most noticeably. This particular method also shows that certain matters can be of lesser/greater concern for one person than they are to another.
