Type: SDD, Interface: SD->CF, Capacity: 128mb, Rot/Write: ?, Manufacturer: CF (Archos) SD (Sandisk), Date: ?, Model: AK0310NB, Serial: ?, Function: Plays once, no save settings, restarts upon shutdown, continues to not access properly, TrueATA/TrueIDE: Not Sure, Firmware: 1.96, Protocol: MSC
Note: Show all files, delete .settings, .playing, .thcdb directory, unplug CE2100. Will play correctly until powerdown.

WOOOHOOO , I just go my sandisk card working:

[Linky]

It's very fast ! played two tracks for 30 secs. Shutting down and saving settings is fine! Tried FW 3.04 DC and FW 1.95 .

Both work perfect and SQ is excellent as always!!! Just ordered a battery replacement ( ipod) .

I just ordered a busted black ce2100 from ebay. I'll probably try the same or a similar 8gig card as I tried in the FlashKarma.

^ Thanks Steve. Could do do as I did with the first three? Put all that info and a picture? That would be a great help! Im rather isolated at home, but I am trying to find some people with CF cards that I can try out.

I'll definitely post pictures and results, but it'll probably be awhile since I haven't received the ce2100 yet or ordered the cf card. It'll probably be a couple of weeks.

Not to rain on your parade, but you may want to give this a read: [Linky]

Edit: Then again, ezekiel was probably talking about instability with the 16 GB card in his Carbon. I read somewhere else that the Carbon can't address more than 8 GB of storage. I assume the same applies for the ce2100.

Good luck.

TrekStor vibez 12 GB -> Senn PX100 = Portable happiness.

:C I read on Riovolution that the Transcend 133x cards will work, but 8gb is the max addressing space because of 24-bit addressing in the firmware, or something to that effect. If it doesn't work, I guess I'll be selling an almost new 8gb CF card soon

Edit: Yeah, does not work. Well, frick.
